A "recording" light controlled by software

If I ever get a spare moment I should finish that project. The simple version closes a relay contact on MMC Record and opens on MMC Stop. The fancy version runs a set of tower lights (red, yellow, green). For anyone wishing to forge ahead, a PIC processor would be a suitable low cost way to implement.
