Hull
A Hull man appears in Federal court on bank fraud charges. The
Patriot Ledger reports that 40 year old Jamie Edelkind allegedly
used his wife's name and falsified financial information to obtain
three loans of more than two million dollars between August of 2000
and March of last year. Edelkind reportedly used the money to buy
and renovate a 15 room Tudor mansion on Nantasket Avenue which was
once the summer home of Boston Mayor John Honey Fitz Fitzgerald.
Edelkind faces up to 30 years in prison and a one million dollar
fine on each of the three bank fraud counts.
