Where did all the people go?

Once upon a time, there was a Systems Analysis consulting company, it was cool. I worked hard for AMS, and AMS paid me well. In general, I was happy there, and stayed eighteen years. I left AMS in September 1996. Of course, the company changed during the time I was there, and I'm sure it has changed since I left. The most recent management changes have convinced most of the folks I worked with that it is time to move on. I hardly know anyone who is still there.
